And you can’t blame him for that because, his story was that, they kicked his legs shouting “you’ll never play again” and, though he walked away with neither a scuff a bruise or a limp (or any other evidence of being hoofed in the shins or thereabouts), he really hasn’t managed to play proper football ever since that tragically ridiculous version of events was concocted while drunk in a Greek police cell following his arrest as one of a bunch of violent English thugs who were having a sickening drunken brawl at a holiday hotspot.
