Just read that Ronaldo may request a move if he doesn't approve or the new manager in the summer.

Says it all really. I'd be cancelling the primadonna's contract and having him escorted off the premises. They haven't got anyone with the backing to do that, and long may it continue.

They've dug a wonderful hole for themselves and pissed away millions into it, wondering all the time if that yellow glint half a mile down & counting could possibly be gold.

Adopt a pressing system with three fast forwards, then sign two with a combined aged of nearly 70, and wonder why it isn't working.

Sack the manager and bring in the father or gegenpress, allegedly, but kept playing the two oldest forwards they have.

I don't know what is more funny, the fact that Cavani and Ronaldo are their current first choice strike partnership and won't press the whole game (or at all in Ronaldo's case) and are costing them probably around £750k per week combined, or the fact they have Greenwood, Rashford, Sancho and Martial as backups with rarely a look in, who may fit the system better, and are costing them probably around the same without getting much game time.

So approximately £1.5m per week in wages for strikers alone, likely more, and that's excluding bonuses, for that. Which Ralfy now has switched to a 2 striker system from 3, meaning even less chance they contribute.

The damage hopefully they are doing now before a new guy comes in is potentially another long term factor. Who is going to respect it Ralf if he finished lower than 4th, instantly undermining his move upstairs. Can or even will the glazers continue to sustain growing debt with less and less competition money coming in? Who will sign for them without champions league or possibly any European football? And if they do, what wage would they want?

No chance he can ingrain a new system on them now and get results, potentially nobody can with such big egos riling the club. He needs to make the best of what he has, play to strengths, and I can see the Ralf mandate being abandoned quite soon, maybe by Ralf himself, otherwise he's out of a job for the next few years.

Lovely.

Could also mean the club is in bits and if Lego is anything to go by, without instructions and made up of pieces that dont match!!

Wonder if the model is available in the "post Derby version", comes with intricately detailed smashed in bogs!

(not condoning it mind)
Wonder if the lego version includes a leaky roof
