I really have no idea or what it means about any of this lol
xG is the Expected Goals statistic. It's a bit in depth but it can essentially predict how many goals you'd expect a team to score or concede based on the chances that they had. So a penalty has a high xG whereas a 50 yard shot has a low xG.

The graph above charts each teams average xG. Or basically it shows how many goals they have been expected to score and concede per game. It's not a perfect system but it's just a bit of information that you can use to support a point. It tries to think about perfect scenarios with no luck or form involved.

In the graph there's a face of Conte. That shows that in his management time, Spurs have created the chances to score similar amount of goals to what City have this season and have had stopped the opposition creating chances to about the same level as City and Liverpool.

The axis on the left is conceded, lower is better. The bottom axis is scored, more to the right is better.

I know I shouldn’t do it but just been in Redcafe and looked at the ....... Do City leave you cold thread ....... oh it’s a belter ......... “ City are nothing but a plastic club over here in Nigeria they ain’t well thought of “ .......... they just don’t grasp the double standards in there posts :)
Reminds me of the time that United fan "Jim from Dublin" e-mailed Sky Sports News to say "City fans should stick to following their local team - Stockport"

You think that one's a belter. The glory hunters are turning on the 'Top Reds'

I remember a Scottish rag, on 606, complaining that City had no English players in the team.

I have to say that Deery's nephew seems like a very intelligent, perceptive young man with great taste.
