Their debt hasn't increased. It's still exactly the same but the media focus on the nonsensical 'net debt' figure, which is actual debt minus cash. So if total debt is £500m and they have £50m cash in the bank, their 'net debt' is £450m. They could have spent that £50m by the time the accounts are published.

He'll be playing for Sunderland within the next 3 years. Just like all the other "wonderkids" they've had over the last 10-15 years

Dude genuinely plays very similarly to Lingard.
So I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up like Lingard.
