Everybody seems to be salivating over Keane's comments, but why? What is he saying that 99% of football fans didn't already know? That the rags are not very good? Well, yeah...we know.
He's trying to reinforce the view that he's a 'man of the people,' that he tells it how it is, takes no prisoners. What a load of rot. Just because every other fucker at Sky/BT etc is too scared to dare criticise the media darlings don't make Keane out to be some kind of mystical visionary who sees things us mere mortals don't.
The average bloke in the pub could tell you exactly the same thing - that those verminous bastards from the swamp have become a below-average football team, and that the club itself is spinning in ever decreasing circles, and rapidly becoming an irrelevance.
Like everyone else on planet earth, I can see for myself just how bad they have become. I don't need Roy Keane to tell me that.
