As long as the rags try to get immediate success through signing social media giant like players and not by forming a long term plan they will remain a bit shit.

If I was a rag fan I would want to hear time frames of 4 years not a year like Herr Shitz has mentioned, but right now the comedy club is continuing to invite mediocrity and long may it continue.

Right back from their very beginnings and right through their history they’ve been an unauthentic club:
They copied the “Manchester” off City
They copied the “United” off Sheffield
They copied “Old Trafford” off Lancashire CCC
They copied their red/white/black colours off Salford RLFC
They copied “the Red Devils” off Salford RLFC
They copied their badge off Liverpool’s original badge

I’m not sure there’s much about the entire club that’s authentic.
The badge colours of red/yellow were chosen to appeal to the Chinese market allegedly.

Red = Good luck, wards off evil.

Yellow = Power and prosperity. (A Royal colour too).

(Using the devil as their emblem is ironic to say the least!)

Not that I’m trying to make the Rags better or anything, but the biggest thing they need to do is get rid of all the past players (and manager!) hanging around the place like a bad smell, and try to get the TV companies to use United pundits less.

Seeing all those ex-players still there over the last few years from Carrick to Fletcher to Mike Phelan, and constantly seeing Ferguson and hearing he’s still involved, is not good for the club at all. The exact same thing happened at Liverpool in the late 80s and through the 90s. Constantly being stuck in a mindset of the past is unhealthy. It’ll hold you back while everyone else moves forward.

That’s one thing I fear about City when this era of ours has gone and we have fans calling for “Fernandinho and Zabaleta to come back to instil some of that old City passion back into the club”. I think that sort of thinking is a right load of fucking bollocks. But it’s exactly what Liverpool did in the late 80s and through the 90s, and exactly what United have been doing over recent years. It’s what’s in their fans’ mindset n’all. Liverpool are still doing it now despite them being back at the top, as they seem to think Gerrard is in line to take over after Klopp.

Also having so many United pundits across the media is the complete opposite to what they need. It, again, just harps back to an era in the past when these players played for United when they were a top club and a top side, and they don’t have a fucking ounce of understanding that United aren’t the club they used to play for anymore. It sets an unrealistic tone about the club with them constantly talking about what United were like when they were there or “should” still be like now. It makes them look a laughing stock, there are a number of better clubs than United now and there’s a lack of acceptance of that by these United pundits (and it doesn’t help that none of the other pundits bring this up). The wider football world are pissing themselves at all that “this is Manchester United Football Club we’re talking about” guff. And the constant end-of-game United Inquests on Sky must be utterly embarrassing for United fans.
Not far off with that post, but a lot see them as a money making machine for their own ends pundits, media hacks and tv and ex players always trying to be positive to appease the rag fans who watch tv or click on articles or websites..the inquest into rag games after another poor performance I’d say a lot of armchair fans lap it up and are blinded by the load of bollocks that is spouted as you mentioned with the line but this is Manchester utd..

I see your worries but don't even think or never have believed having ex players at a club is the problem it's more how a club is ran it's identity, just like the rags now the dippers were badly ran throughout the early prem years and a little before that resting on their laurels with old ideas, there was an arrogance that they'd return any year but after about 6 or 7 years of premiership football, it was then Liverpool realised they'd fucked up and started going into crisis mode trying to right wrongs it was too late.

Look at Ajax and Barcelona it's having the club's identity and philosophy streamlined together, since the 1970s that has done them such a good service over the years and will carry on, even Barca now they're going through a bad time but because they've got these ex players involved, all who believe in the Reynolds/Michels/Cruyff/Pep way universally they'll recover quick.
It's better having those ex players to reinforce the club's ideas over the course generations we'll be doing the same here, having ex players will help us in the long-term and when they're homegrown it'll be even better, it's tremendously helped Ajax/Barca and other teams they're just the best examples, most of Europe's better ran teams the likes of Bayern or Juventus do the same and make sure the club is ran right.

It's different and a seriously toxic problem with the rags right now or dippers back then, neither club had an identity a pure vision about how they play or even conduct themselves in the long-term, it was all about winning right now in whatever way they could and with the likes of the self entitled brigade after Fergie left, they've been given a gaping hole to replace him and it wasn't easy because he was an out of date manager behind the times, despite his continued success his ideas were long outdated but because he was unmovable and his old ideas became normal to all their players, once every new manager came in with more modern ideas their ex players not knowing any better, and probably told by other fegie servants on the coaching staff, about new methods at the club they're all critically thinking "Fergie would never have done that" he wouldn't do this or that etc. They're blinded by ancient ideas they're clueless as to what to do next as a club.

All these ex rag players continue to put undue pressure on every new manager they've hired since, by opening their mouths they're actively hurting their pathetic club with out of date ideas, because the rags have never had a real long-term future identity not the deeper they got into the Fergie era at least it was all about winning.
Busby had a clear vision that they must always try no matter what to have the best youth players in the country, they lost that identity even before us and now they don't even have the best in their local area, never will they again either as long as we keep our approach to football.
It's all about identity and philosophy, they've lost their's and are going through many crises that they cannot comprehend.

We're the opposite and on the up, long may both clubs situations continue.

Buy him a cheeseburger and speed it up.

Something about this guy gives me paedophile (hunter) vibes.

Bristol's answer to Craig Meehan?
He is one degree of separation away from the brilliant joke Dipper commentator Jimmy Liddel. What a full on melt.
His YouTube antics reminded me of one Jimmy‘s best lines…. ‘he’s the only baby to be born holding an apology from the condom company.’

who would ever watch this live. In fact who would ever watch this anytime other than those of us who like a good laugh after the event.
