Are you sure you haven't dreamt that?

What a ridiculous post unless you can quote the posters who actually said it.

He must have, because I can't find it from searching. Rangnick and replace has a handful of results.

Could have been deleted but most likely explanation for that is was seen as deliberate trolling.

Not that I’m trying to make the Rags better or anything, but the biggest thing they need to do is get rid of all the past players (and manager!) hanging around the place like a bad smell, and try to get the TV companies to use United pundits less.

Seeing all those ex-players still there over the last few years from Carrick to Fletcher to Mike Phelan, and constantly seeing Ferguson and hearing he’s still involved, is not good for the club at all. The exact same thing happened at Liverpool in the late 80s and through the 90s. Constantly being stuck in a mindset of the past is unhealthy. It’ll hold you back while everyone else moves forward.

That’s one thing I fear about City when this era of ours has gone and we have fans calling for “Fernandinho and Zabaleta to come back to instil some of that old City passion back into the club”. I think that sort of thinking is a right load of fucking bollocks. But it’s exactly what Liverpool did in the late 80s and through the 90s, and exactly what United have been doing over recent years. It’s what’s in their fans’ mindset n’all. Liverpool are still doing it now despite them being back at the top, as they seem to think Gerrard is in line to take over after Klopp.

Also having so many United pundits across the media is the complete opposite to what they need. It, again, just harps back to an era in the past when these players played for United when they were a top club and a top side, and they don’t have a fucking ounce of understanding that United aren’t the club they used to play for anymore. It sets an unrealistic tone about the club with them constantly talking about what United were like when they were there or “should” still be like now. It makes them look a laughing stock, there are a number of better clubs than United now and there’s a lack of acceptance of that by these United pundits (and it doesn’t help that none of the other pundits bring this up). The wider football world are pissing themselves at all that “this is Manchester United Football Club we’re talking about” guff. And the constant end-of-game United Inquests on Sky must be utterly embarrassing for United fans.

Like everything else connected with that club, it's utterly fake. There is nothing authentic about them whatsoever.
Right back from their very beginnings and right through their history they’ve been an unauthentic club:
They copied the “Manchester” off City
They copied the “United” off Sheffield
They copied “Old Trafford” off Lancashire CCC
They copied their red/white/black colours off Salford RLFC
They copied “the Red Devils” off Salford RLFC
They copied their badge off Liverpool’s original badge

I’m not sure there’s much about the entire club that’s authentic.
