I never for one moment envisaged a demise of this level. Maureen called it I guess.

Would love to suggest that they are noisy neighbours? However, I think the quiet ones that live at the bottom of the cul-de-sac that you never see and aren't completely sure are alive would be more relevant for them.

United aren't down and out yet I think. They could still recruit very well if Ten Haag is actually a good manager with a vision and a decent list of targets who are not demanding CL.

It'll be an interesting transfer window for united, Newcastle, Spurs and Arsenal. Any of them could leap forward or be left in the dust.

They are on the brink thats for sure. Already spent the last 2/3 weeks talking about FDJ and look no closer which is just typical of the rags over the last 5/6 years.

The coaching is stuck in the 90’s. I suppose ten bob is their attempt to move forward and try to catch us up.

I don't think they will catch Arsenal
His English cousin was phased out in 1969, so they've got a lot of catching up to do.

"Ten shillings in pre-decimal money (written 10s or 10/-) was equivalent to half of one pound. The ten-shilling note was the smallest denomination note ever issued by the Bank of England. The note was issued by the Bank of England for the first time in 1928 and continued to be printed until 1969."

Shame.

It was always a fine day when you got a ten bob note in your card on a birthday, 120 old pence would have been an incredible amount of shrapnel to cart off to the shops in the pockets of your short trousers.

They are stuck in a time warp no doubt. I think last season was when their chickens finally came home to roost. I think even the officials have given up on bailing them out. That season under Solksjaer when they kept getting all those pens blew my mind, ridiculous assistance from the authorities. Anyway, I'm hoping for a sustained period in the doldrums for them, whereby the highlight of their season is reaching the 5th round of the FA Cup.
The penalties were very suspect.
They are absolutely shocking and have started to rely on them.
