Do we recruit players that Pep has written down on the back of a fag packet, or do we have a whole system and scouting network that identifies targets collectively over a number of season? They’ve had decent managers and still their recruitment has been stuck in the Stone Age.United aren't down and out yet I think. They could still recruit very well if Ten Haag is actually a good manager with a vision and a decent list of targets who are not demanding CL.
It'll be an interesting transfer window for united, Newcastle, Spurs and Arsenal. Any of them could leap forward or be left in the dust.
