United are a 'Divine Right' club.

Like Scousepool, Arsenal, Real Madrid and sundry others they think that if they are not doing well, it's a Bad Thing not only for them, but for football in general.

When in a position like they are now, it puts huge pressure on management. I think this guy they have got is a good choice, about as good as they could hope to get. But they will expect miracles overnight. Some actually think they will win the League next year!

In fairness, most are more grounded. But if they get off to a bad start, the pressure will soon start mounting.

Their squad is average at best - God knows how they managed 6th. The whole club is rotten. The rebuilding job is huge. It's one hell of a challenge.

I want them to suffer unimaginable pain till the end of time..not to much to ask

If it's genuine that Eriksen really has turned them down in order to stay at Brentford, where do they go from here? Nobody seems to want to sign up to TenBob's vision of a rag future so there is something wrong somewhere.
Rag fans cannot in all seriousness claim the Glazers haven't opened their wallets, can they? Because from where I'm sitting once Kim-jong Pisscan vacated the seat the Glazers have pumped millions and millions into the club, they have basically given Moyes, Loony Tunes, Maureen and Noddy-no-Mates an open cheque book. Hardly their fault that the club have failed so disastrously (disastrously for the rags, but fucking hilarious for every one else).

I'm absolutely serious when I say that if the new man goes the the way of his predecessors, they could do a lot worse than Sean Dyche. Yes, the football would be about as interesting as a Michael Owen speech on how he learned to tie up his own shoelaces when at primary school, but given a small amount of money Dyche would almost certainly keep them ticking over until someone with vision and temerity could take over.
If not, then they are in serious danger of doing a Leeds and totally fucking up...big-time.

Their vision is clearly not a sporting one ..
The Glaser's goal is a steady income stream, and whilst they can still make a regular income they don't seem to be arsed about winning anything as long as they stay in the CL and keep selling seats at Old Toilet. Where I think they have been short sighted is that they haven't really understood that they need to keep their club a desirable choice for good players to come and ply their trade and that is dependant on success on the field so they can in turn keep the money rolling in.

Too many players in recent seasons have gone there on big money deals and fallen off a cliff in terms of performance. Not the end of the world for players towards the end of their careers, but for younger players, the prospect of going to that rancid club without CL football next season is a deal breaker. Nobody wants to sign for them.

They have too many players on huge contracts stinking the place out, and they've seem to have an issue with signing over-hyped youngsters with poor attitudes. They have also thrown big money at big name players that have clearly only gone there for the money.

Now they find themselves in that situation where they have no recent success, they are out of the CL, nobody wants to sign for them and they are going to struggle to compete as a result. Their fans have been entitle for so long they are simply not going to accept the dross they are being served up week-in-week-out and their gate receipts are going to suffer.

They have absolutely f*cked themselves and it is DELICIOUS.

All very true but has everyone overlooked the reason that the Glazers own the club ?.
For those that don't want to know close your eyes now. It was your beloved manager the Govan Piss Can who thought he could take on and beat the Irish Mafia.
Every time fans moan about the Glazers not one of them seem capable of putting 2 and 2 together
