This reminds me of a couple of lines from Fitzgerald's 1859 translation of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam:

"Myself when young did eagerly frequent
Doctor and Saint, and heard great argument..."

Who would have thought that a 12th Century Persian poet could have predicted the arrival of both of these eminent figures embodied in the same human form nine centuries later?

(Never let it be said that this forum lacks culture - you wouldn't find this on RAWK or Rag Cafe.....)
Ah yes The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, great work and his brother Victor who could forget him what a great razor that was.
 
Nope. They were both academy graduates and were born in Levenshulme and Salford, respectively.
Are you sure? My mate John Bailey is a big blue and comes from Salford. A better footballer than either of them.
