I think they have to team to finish top four which is good enough for them.
I honestly think they will struggle for a top 4 place this year. Obviously there is a long long way to go before the season's finale but as things stand (for the foreseeable future, at least) Rentboy is up against Pep, Klopp, and Tuchel, and any number of other potential contenders. The money that's on offer for a CL place is incentive enough for a handful of other Prem managers to give it a seriously good shot, as well.
Rentboy is just not good enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with any of the names mentioned above and I can see another season of sweet fuck all for the rags again

I will be watching how Varane fits into this United side. I dont buy the "he had it easy at Madrid" view, there are still plenty of challenging games in La Liga. The step up in physicality/speed is more true but he's one of the quicker centre halves around

anyway, United's premise under Solksjaer appears to be some sort of containment job in the first half followed by all out in the second half. Especially away from home, they had some of the best 2nd half results of last season, but it was the first half bit that was going so wrong for them - they weren't actually keeping the ball out of the net. This strategy always struck me as rather crackers, as there's only going to be so many times you can win from a losing position before your luck runs out. However if Varane shores up that flaky defence a bit, and Pogba/Fernandes hit form together, they could/should be in the top 4, but i am not sure they're title challengers.

So obvious Ferguson is running the show.

Solksjaer is a stooge for the Glazers,
He's also a puppet for the domineering Pisscan. No way has that purple-faced tyrant retired, if anything his oppressive grip on that club has merely strengthened because I think it's pretty obvious that the rent boy was brought in as a front, a cover for who is really in charge there.
You think about it: there was a brief period in time when they were treated almost (almost) the same as most Premier League clubs when it came to refereeing - some decisions went their way, some didn't. But then almost overnight the didactic changed and now that buck-toothed weasel spends more time writhing around the ground looking for penalties and free kicks than anything else.

The rent boy was never notorious for the dark arts before, but we all know a bullying, despotic drunkard who most certainly is.

As much as I love their decline it astonishes me that Ole has been trusted to rebuild them. He’s a useless prick, he’s utterly clueless, he couldn’t build an ikea table, never mind a league challenge. Why would any chairmen trust him, what’s it based on? Long may it continue but I still can’t get my head around it. Btw RAG SCUM
Because there’s a certain tyrannical pisscan in the background pointing the rent boy in the right direction.

He never really got over losing the title to us on the last kick of the season. He's desperate to get his own back, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's calling in a few favours to try and swing things in his favour...

Funny how there are no chairs in front of the monitors..... whoops I had forgotten that Jon Moss was there for two games already, replacement shipping is slow worldwide.

Slabhead’s game is all about positioning (has to be because he’s not the quickest off the mark), but for me he doesn’t read the game well enough to mentally absorb what is happening around him: subsequently, all too often he takes the wrong option when he has the ball at his feet because he just isn’t intelligent enough a player to read the situation.
That would work in quite a few systems, but I don’t think it does for the rags because they try to play speedy counterattacking football, and Slabhead is way too immobile for that.

A slow oil tanker would be embarrassed by his turning speed!
Evergreen?

This. The crazy decisions they had in their favour to sneak into the CL the other season told me that he was back on the scene and its continued since with the crazy amount of penalties, very few cards and the way we are officiated
