To show the gulf, some of the maps from yesterday.

First Half tells an interesting story, firstly 10 shots to 4, however 1 of their "shots" is actually the Own Goal. So 11-3.

You'll notice a couple of the other stats. Namely the Rags attempted 17 tackles and were pinged for 1 foul (so 18 tackles with 1 foul as it's cumulative, a tackle which is pinged as a foul is included in fouls, not tackles). City also had 18 tackles/fouls, but 9 were pinged as fouls. So we both had 18 tackles, only 1 Rag tackle was a foul, 9 City tackles were fouls.

You can see our dominance, twice the passes and nearly twice the touches and the Rags with 15 clearances. What's also interesting is the Rags touches in our box were all shots, meaning they were either first time hits or from crosses/set pieces, no actual possession in our box in the first half.

Haha loving the clearances, is there a goal kick one?

What website is that mate? Love this stuff!!!

Second half is arguably more dominant, fewer shots but both the Rags were outside the box:

This half the Rags attempted 20 tackles, and gave away 8 fouls, whilst we attempted 11 and gave away 4. So a total of 38 tackles with 9 fouls for the Rags, and 29 tackles with 13 fouls for us.

Oddly though, by 70 minutes the foul count was 20 tackles with 2 fouls to the Rags, we had 26 tackles and 12 fouls. So 1 in every 10 Rag fouls in the first 70 minutes was a foul, whilst nearly 1 in 2 for us.

Fouls first 70 minutes:

After 70 minutes, the Rags gave attempted 11 tackles and gave away 7 fouls, so up to 7/18 nearly 1 in 2, whilst we attempted just 2 tackles and no fouls. Utterly bizarre if it was honest...

Fouls (after 70 minutes):

Finally, to sum up the domination, touches in the 2nd half:

You'll notice just 1 orange Rag dot in our box in the 2nd half, so just 1 single touch, which was this:

Deary me.

Great analysis.

@PannickAtTheDisco brilliant cheers for posting
Just one clarification please. Am I correct in saying that in the second half, the only touch the rags had in our box was a header when mctominay was offside ? If so in reality they had no touches ?

Are we the pride of stretford, flixton, davyhulme and Urmston? Hope Saturday's demolition derby traumatizes them for years to come.

Did something naughty on Google, searched the rags' structure. The sweaties DO have a Director of Football John Murtough. Excitingly, they ALSO have a football director/technical director in the shape of .................. Darren Fletcher!

They would be marginally less fucked employing Darren Gough.

Might as well be Aston villa ;-)))))

This is the standard of fan they actually try and brag about with the "we've got more fans than you" jibe. Just step back and imagine being so shit that your only source of pride in the team is having a bigger collection of mugs like this who drop their interest in the club the second they're not the best team around than any other club.

Cunts who post Online about our attendances and numbers of supporters almost invariably havent attended more than a couple of games in person. Their complete lack of self awareness is hilarious
