Ya not much for social media (no twitter never had facebook. Just retired recently and have more time on my hands nowadays. I find the PL has really been transformed over the last two years and is becoming in effect a "Super league" of sorts. Its a very interesting time for the league and I enjoy the off field drama as well as on field.

As well I've only been following footy since 2010 when both my kids started playing locally. Played a bit in my youth but being as that was Canada in the '70's footy was pretty low on the sports pecking order. As such I've always been more of a lurker. As well I'm old school and have always believed in the "two ears one mouth...listen twice as much as talk...etc" approach.

What is this "footy" of which you speak?

In Australia it is for Australian Rules Football - or as my wife and I call it, No Rules Football. The highlights of this game is the speed that umpires can run backwards and the goal umpires waving flags at each other.
