Until there is transparency this will always be a moot point.

Why are you so concerned about anonymised data being made public when it is clearly in the public interest?

It's not in the public interest.

It interests a few supporters of clubs that hate United and think there's something dodgy going on. 99.99999% of the general public don't care.

It's also not remotely in Uniteds interests for this game to be postponed, just as it wasn't in our interests to postpone the game against Everton last year.

Do you not think the powers that be are trusted enough to sort these things out between themselves and the club/clubs concerned?
If they’ve been told X amount of players and staff have tested positive, and have proven it, that’s enough for them to make the decision to postpone the game. They’re aren’t duty bound to provide us, the public, with anything.
It was initially declared and very quickly removed that United had two cases, one player and one backroom staff. They then chose to close their training ground and used this as an excuse to postpone their game due to lack of time for preparation.

I would question how much physical preparation is actually done at the training ground the day before a game when usually clubs are travelling. We need to be told the justification for closing the training ground else, next time there is an injury crisis, clubs will ne able close their training ground and point to this precedent for getting their game called off.

The FA are accountable and should be held to account by ALL stakeholders, not just those with seats at the top table.

Clearly we disagree.

United have zero to benefit from it being postponed though. With respect to them, it’s Brentford. If it was Liverpool away or us then I could see why the suspicion, but even then the flip argument would be they then have a fixture pile up.

There could be a fixture pile up of such a magnitude that they may very well cancel the league as it stands, this new variant has exploded (Not saying it's a bad or a mild one).

The cynic in me would say that if enough matches are called off the fixtures may not end up being completed, some would say that the money people will always find a way to make sure it finishes but there are time constraints at play here, we haven't even had the seasonal cancellations for inclement weather yet.

When we cancelled our match we were roundly vilified in the press, the rags cancel theirs and the press and FA and sending them flowers and blowing smoke up their arse.

That's my unreasonable conspiracy theory rant for the day ;)

They could, of course be waiting for the transfer window and more time for the new regime to impart some influence.

The FA will know who has tested positive, and apart from conspiracy theories there is no evidence that clubs are being treated differently by the authorities.
The question of conspiracies can only arise if equality is not followed properly, and lets be honest, football at the very top has been found to be corrupt.

If utd get a game postponed because they shut their training ground for a day, and Brighton are told to carry on with five positive tests it skews the whole scenario.

Strict and consistent rules/measures are all I want to see, where safety is paramount.........if done properly, very few conspiracies could arise from that.
