There is a particular stupidity about any fan or presenter who makes a big deal of City fans coming from Stockport.

Rags fans and the media are especially stupid about most things to do with City, but the real basis of their jibes are due to jealousy of the success we are having whilst they continue to flounder .

Re Greenwood. He had his detention extended beyond the initial 24 hours. The cop custody clock has a definitive end point. Bail allows the clock to be stopped. They need enough time to remain to finalise whatever outcome is decided upon.

I said something similar to a Rag mate a few months back.
I said they were footballs equivalent to a washed up old slapper who still thinks she's a fit 21 year old.
Funnily enough it didn’t go down to well.

Yep, almost as surprising them being drawn at home in a cup competition, AND it being live on TV.

For the life of me I cannot fathom, no matter how hard I try, why this game was selected for live TV. Both sides are mediocre in their respective divisions. The reality is it not likely to provide an upset (hope I'm wrong here). The quality of football is not going to be good.

Now compare that to City v Fulham. Two very entertaining sides, both free scoring, both playing great football and Fulham will be capable of pulling out a surprise result.

Why was the poor game selected - answers on a postcard please.
