Having lost a premature baby boy about 28 years ago my heartfelt empathy goes to the Ronaldo family, so sad.

Same here, almost 20 years ago but not a day goes by without thinking about it, thoughts and prayers with Ronaldo and his family who will never get over this tragic loss.

Don't particularly like the guy because of the media hype BUT sincere condolences to Ronaldo and his girlfriend on this tragic news. Having seen the effect on our son when our seven-year old grandson died I can empathise with them.

Rivalries aside it is horrible news for Ronaldo and his partner. It's impossibr to imagine what they are both are going through. RIP young 'un

Reading some of the posts on here it is so sad that premature deaths is so common. I really feel for any of you who have suffered the loss of a child and I hope that time has eased your pain.

Sad news about the little one. Can't see him playing tonight. Let's see if the scousers will show the same respect they were crying out for on Saturday.

My mother lost a child, my sister many years ago. It affected her mental health for the rest of her life.
Football rivalry simply does not matter here.
Very sad news indeed for the couple and their wider families.
