I’m not interested if it was or wasn’t a penalty, what I will say is I’m fucking delighted it was given, end of debate.
Don’t get me wrong. I can't see me having a sleepless night over them getting a penalty (dubious or not) awarded against them. They get more than enough soft ones (even ones after the final bloody whistle) to more than compensate them for any "injustice" they may feel has been visited on them.

Rumours of a Manchester United sale to businessman Sir Jim Ratcliffe, CEO of Ineos, and the team's return to form on the pitch have led to the club's stock market value rocketing by £450m in the last month. (Daily Mail)

Yesterdays Daily Mail !!! After the Abortion at home to Real Sociedad.

The exceptions are if the ball hits a player's arm directly from the player's own head or body and if a player is falling and their arm is between themselves and the ground for support

i'm glad it was given but it wasn't :)

  • directly from the player’s own head or body (including the foot)
  • directly from the head or body (including the foot) of another player who is close
  • if the hand/arm is close to the body and does not make the body unnaturally bigger

That was last year. Check the 2022/3 laws of the game.
