Football is not profitable. Clubs are trophy assets. People buy them for the prestige and profile that comes with ownership. Maybe the rags is the outlier where the owners take money out. But generally ownership costs you money your only chance of profit is when you sell up and that assumes its sold in a good state.

The next owners if the rags will have to spend massive amounts to sort out the infrastructure.

I am not a money guy other than I wish I bloody had more than I have got, but I hope you're right,
Post code lottery for me I'm not greedy ;-)
So how did you become big then big Gaz :-)
Unless you are referencing just a part of you of course :-)
Ever seen a thin monk in a film or on telly, no, I love the brew beer and fair play she makes great dumpers and suet pastry, oh yes little dick;-)

Fakeronaldo fined £50k and banned for knocking a phone out of a child's hand , what a low life piece of scum , the fine is equivalent to about £50 to the average working wage.
The Fake's kids must be so proud of him , attacking a child and acting like a spoilt brat to get his own way to engineer a move away from the Rags. His kids will probably grow up with his morals , spoilt , self entitled brats.

So, who will the Rags be happy to buy them?
Some pretty tight criteria for them.

1. Must have in the region of £5 billion to hand over to the Glazers.
2. Must have fuck knows how much to pay off their debt.
3. Must have a shitload more to spend on the stadium and training facilities.
4. Must buy the club outright without leveraging the debt.
5. Must not take any dividends out of the club.
6. Must be seen to invest their own money into the club.
7. Must not rename the stadium.
8. Must not be Arab.
9. Must not be Russian.
10. Must not be Chinese.
11. Must not be American again.
12. Must not be from a country with any sort of Human Rights issues.
13. Must be happy to accept that any time they lose a game they will think they bought Norwich.
14. Must be happy to have abuse directed at them every time they fail to win the league / Trophy.
15. Must be happy to pay a raging alcoholic £2million a year to sit in the stands.
16. Must be prepared to live in the past instead of looking to the future.

I'm sure there is a queue a mile long of suitable owners they will be happy with.

I've got a feeling there will be some moral gymnastics taking place,

True to a point , not disagreeing with anything. But Citys owners wanted us for the whole package , to work with the council to re-gen the area, to get in roads into new york and do the same there etc etc
I think, with us , the football club is kinda a by product, succesful team, bit of prestige whilst making billions alongside it

If you ignore 11 & 12, Elon Musk. He's got the readies. Plus, he seems (repeat for the hard of hearing, seems) like he could be a bit of a tw@. So he'd be the perfect fit for that club.

I see Ronaldo's got a two match ban for the Everton phone incident last April, strange it was handed out the day after he left United.

5 billion? They want 8, maybe 9.

Do United fans still not understand that the glazers will not sell to the guy who is best for united future, they will sell to to whoever lined their pockets most
It’s also gonna cost them £5 billion before they start to actually spend money on stadium, traning, decent players…..
Chelsea is proof that idiots who know nothing about football think they can run football clubs.
Love it rags and dippers begging for Middle East investment
