SAF will always have my respect for what he did for Paul Lake, at the time it seemed a lot more than the club was willing or able to do.
He is and always will be a ****Personally, I cannot accept that he was a good manager. My dislike of the man is so entrenched within me that I will not see beyond the execrable tyrant that he was, and how his foul-mouthed threats to the officials and the media personnel put them above the rules. Immense sums of money, favouritism and/or threats towards anyone not a part of his inner-circle made them successful, not his footballing nous.
For these reasons alone I will never respect to him.

I don't even respect the achievements. Nothing was achieved on sporting merit. For instance there was a specific reason why gate money stopped being split with the away side. With you on that one. Respect the achievements but not the man. An inveterate bully and woe betide if you got on his bad side.
He was a cheat
He was a bully
He ridiculed City
He got away with crime
He consistently lied
He hounded players out the club
He is narcisstict
He retired when the going got tough
I have zero respect for that god awful man. Most rags hate him as well due to the horse spunk incident and blame him for the Glazers buying them (I respect him for that)
