There is a lot of resistance on this though politically mate and it seems the Newcastle ownership is being reviewed again? The word on the street is its the same people who own Newcastle who are providing the money for the front man?

Occam's razor says it's the Qatari state, not Saudis. It sure as hell isn't this banker guy.

Doesn't the PL have to look at a new owner's ability to buy? This guy has zero ability to invest 8 billion.

"We'll tell the fans were gonna sell. String a couple of fake bids out of it.Then decide none match our valuation. Take another loan out on the brand to 'invest' and pocket the cash! These United fans are thick as pig shit."
Good shout - Used to work for a Company where the owner did similar, every time the share price was down hed head down to London make sure he was seen' in a few meetings with advisors. get people lumping on a sale, get the share price up then shortly after sell some shares at the inflated price!

yeah every aspect of this deal should be looked at regarding funding mate but will it? With it being the rags will it face the same scrutiny as Newcastle did?

If it happens this deal will receieve no scrutiny and no criticism in the media. There will be no talk of human rights abuses in Qatar or problems with migrant workers. The puppets at the top of the PL will just wave it through. As Khaldoon said: "organised and clear."
On a positive note it is increasingly clear that opposition fans are starting to see through this charade. You see more and more sarcastic online comments from fans of other clubs on propaganda stories in the media about MUFC. It must be a real eye-opener for Newcastle fans who used to slag off City.

I know we have a laugh about it on here but its frightening how democracy and fair reporting has just vanished. Its just mutually beneficial interest groups now in all aspects of news and sports news.

It is a very strange time. The agenda is set by social media and the clickbait culture is dominant. Traditional media is dying and it's not clear what will replace it yet. Most media organisations seem to have abandoned the concept of impartiality. Many reporters, especially in the regions, are given clickbait targets to achieve with their content. This is what drives them...not pursuit of the truth in any story.
