As much as I enjoy a rags defeat I’d rather they’d have stayed in the competition to give them the extra games before a potential cup final meeting with them
 
I didn't watch the whole match but what I saw tells me that the rags are in even more trouble than I thought. Disjointed, disinterested, seemingly unable to execute a tactical plan (presuming ten bob had one).

In the darkest days of the nineties I saw some downright awful City teams and plenty of individual players giving less than 100% but I don't remember seeing any City team ever with such a combination of ineptitude and sheer can't-be-arsedness as I saw last night. Truly wonderful to see.

Id take Alan Kernaghan over Slabhead any day of the week.
