Don't blame de gea for first goal. I just watch football and I know de gea has poor decision making and distribution skills. He should only be doing simple passes or hitting it long. Blame lies with manager
You are not blaming the keeper for his poor decision making and distribution skills, in a mistake leading to a goal due to poor distribution and decision making skills? :/

I remember seeing an interview with Micah Richards. He was saying when Silva first came he asked Micah why was he not passing the ball to him. Micah replied "because you had a man tight"... Silva replied "that's the best time to give it to me so I can manipulate the opponent"...

Just saying. I know Maguire is a million trillion miles away from the footballer Silva is.

Maguire was asking for the ball though, watch him closely, he is signaling for the ball.
It could be argued that De Gea should have seen the danger and passed it out wide to the full back, the one Maguire tried to lay the ball off to and failed.

De Gea and Maguire are both culpable in that situation. Maguire for not having the spacial awareness and threat around him and De Gea for also not recognising that a pass to Maguire, who though asking for it, was a hospital pass.

You cannot count out Tent Peg for that error as well, he must be telling them and coaching them to play out from the back, not matter what. A few years ago De Gea would have hoyed that up field. De Gea is not a goalkeeper who can play the "sweeper keeper" role, just look at his miserable attempt to bring the ball under control that lead to the 3rd goal.
I think de Gea has cost them so many goals over the past two or three seasons, he may be a good shot stopper, when they’re straight at him, mind you, but there’s been many times when he’s cost utd goals.

Ultimately blame lies with the manager, imo
The keeper has never looked comfortable playing this way
Utd trying to keep up with City, copying our style ,instead of concentrating on their own...clearly playing to the managers orders.

Nah, it is a form of bullying. I'm even older than Tolm and from a generation who are used to things being far less PC. I think we have gone too far with the whole PC / woke or whatever thing but doing things that I'd class as mean should never be acceptable.

I also hate scapegoating of players - my primary concern is City players of course and I'm happy to have a laugh at the misfortunes of other teams but shit goes too far in the current social media dominated world.
If he wasn't so shit and earning millions from been shit.
I'm a joiner if I did someone's kitchen and it fell to bits I'd get ripped to fuck next time I went in the builders supplies
