1. Are these lot literally building a second squad of random midfielders? WTF

2. There's an interesting narrative developing among their fans being heavily pushed that "they haven't spent a dime", that they "haven't spent anything". Whether true or not technically about whether Glazers are spending out of pocket, well first is it a bad thing to reinvest profits??? And second, they know full well they demand and feel entitled to the very best players, a bit rich of them to pretend that the 2nd rate galactico model isn't exactly what they are demanding. Also doesn't matter where the money comes from--the club has still spent around ~1bn. Are they saying they should've spent that AND additional money?
No, they are saying: “ Boo, it’s not fair, we should be top because we are untied. Mum, Mum, tell them Mum; we want to be top”

Go on. I got five.
Not bad. But go on then, here's one with 11.
I include the punctuation to make it clear and stop brains or lungs from failing...

In the school exam, James, as opposed to John who had had 'had', had had 'had had'; 'had had' had had little to no effect on the mark James was eventually given.

Ain't English ace?

'Joao must be avin a larrf!'
Bugger all money!!!

£110m bid for Felix turned down.
They turn to his teammate Cunha, who is apparently telling his agent not answer the phone to them.
Offer to double Casemiro's wages to £380k week stalled as player has no interest.
Ajax winger Antony doesn't want to go to United.
And Frankie would rather take a wage cut than talk to them. Great wage reduction tactic for any club now - 20% less or we'll accept United's bid.

It's daily rejections! There going to beat my record for one summer as a shy 16 year old, several times over!

Have a feeling from Ronaldo's comments he's really going to put the boot in once the window shuts and he's safely in Italy or Spain.

If they sell the club and rags have a clean sheet they still going to have to compete with 5/6 clubs who can spend big! It just make the pack at the top tighter! So not bothered one bit because we will compete with any club in this league and Europe!

Surely Ratcliffe wouldn't be sending £4-5Bn if the Glazers are only interested in selling a 10% stake in the club?

It is highly unlikely that Ratcliffe will spend half of his wealth on buying a club, which is what it would take.

Thereafter he would have to invest a huge amount in transfer fees. It is possible he could head up a consortium, following the Chelsea model.

He hasn’t exactly made that much difference with his investment in Nice where he only has PSG in reality to compete with. Sounds more like publicity stunt to me, much like the late bid for Chelsea that even the government dismissed

I suspect this is a typical Glazers tactic to take the heat off and they will sell a few shares that have little value to appease the fan base in the short term

Just reading the quotes and he is saying buying a stake in club with a view to eventually taking over... Not happening anytime soon then .... And dependent on Glaziers offering a stake in club..
A none story for now.

Jim ratcliffe has threw his hat into the ring to buy the rags ..where has this come from and When were they put up for sale, huge huge PR drive underway from the rags keeping them relevant and desperation from the media to see it all happen..
