I had to go back in the thread to see what it related to and I am now sitting here gobsmacked!! How old was he when he wrote those atrocities? Ten years old?
If anyone had written that to me I would still be cringing with embarrassment!! In fact I would be hiding away for at least a decade if I’d heard that something that dire had been read out in open court!

He's a good player. Should improve them but its more short term fixes for a lot of money

He's a good tackler & fairly mobile. Better than what they have.
But he can't protect that shite defence on his own. If they got De Jong too & played them together that would be a good shield. Destroyer & quality passer.
Also others have said on here even if he's a success in 2 or 3 seasons they will have an over the hill player like Mata & Matic etc who they couldn't shift because mo one else is stupid enough to pay that much.

Unfortunately the rest of the league is piss poor. 14th and 15th was tongue in cheek...

They shouldn't be anywhere near 4th. Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea are all better teams than the Rags they all have a style of play, Players that are playing for their managers and believing in what they are trying to do.

The Rags are a shit show, On paper they might have a few better players than what those teams mentioned do, But they aren't a team, They are individuals with big egos that aren't willing to out a shift in, No style of play, No patterns of play ect

Brighton are even a better team than the Rags, Well drilled side with a brilliant style of football. Played the Rags twice in recent months towards the end of last season and the start if this season and took the piss out of them on both occasions. That's on a far less budget and players that possibly are on a quarter of the wage as the Rags players.
They've a long way to go before the even get to Brightons standard never mind the big sides.
