Absolute gutless display from the rags in the cup final. They didn’t create much and only opportunity to get into the game was by their usual help from the ref. My favourite part of the day was them collecting their losers medals to a chorus of ‘your fucking shit’. Brutal but glorious stuff.

I got the impression it was from the 2018/19 season when Liverpool got 97 points and we won the league with 98, never thought of it as the victims of Hillsborough.

It isn't and never has been. It has always been "96, n** e******" until Andrew Devine passed due to injuries suffered on that day, becoming the 97th victim.

The "points total" excuse is the excuse they give when people call them out on it.

Ask yourself; why would United fans care that much about Liverpool not having enough points to overhaul Manchester City to the title? Why not when they lost out by one point as well?
