What I don't get is all the rag fans are convinced this is just the start to him gaining full control and them getting rid of the Glazers altogether, but answer me this...

He can only afford 25% now at the current share price, assuming the money he's put into the club now does improve the club's fortunes (BIG assumption i know) that would then lead to an increase the share price... so how is he going to be able to buy further stakes in the club at a higher price than its currently at if he can only afford 25% at today's price?

IF there’s a plan for him to buy a majority share, there’ll already be an option contractually agreed, with terms regarding pricing in comparison with the then current market value. They will not be doing this on the basis of let’s see where we are in a couple of years.

+ If you buy 25%, it must be that you want 100%, mustn't it?
But he hasn't got 100%, otherwise he would have bid for it.
Sunny Jim is rich, but a lightweight compared to the Glazers.
Without massive investment, the club is going nowhere.
Is he going to throw in any more money, to the benefit of the Glazers?
Are they going to refurbish the stadium anytime soon?
I can't recall seeing any new planning permissions, or anything.
Sounds like a non- event, if it even happens at all.
