Indeed. If players were suspended because some people on social media wrote up some stuff accusing them of this or that, most players would be on gardening leave.

The rags have thrown Antony under a bus here, unless they’ve seen what is coming.

Well apart from the transfer fee of circa £75m + wages , what have they got to lose ?

He's fucking useless and Ten Haag should have known that before signing him. As well as knowing what his " personality " was like, that is piss poor judgement on his part, and contributory to the shit team he has.

Serves the fuckers right imo.

Guess that’s what other clubs thought about Mendy too? Surely his penchant for shagging at least 3 girls a night popped up in our character report.

Do you think Peter Sutcliffe told his employers that him being an HGV driver was just to kill people in different places near to his routes?

I hope City are going to comment on the United abusegate accusations.

I want to see past players come out on sky and declare united in crisis. I want to see an in depth investigation carried out by sky and the league. I want journalists to ask every manager at every press conference what they think of the shenanigans going on at the biggest club in the world!

After all, if it’s good enough for City especially regarding FFP or any players we buy that turn into problems. I can’t wait for the impartial bbc to run a spotlight programme on all things grubby united.

Anyway, glazers out -:)

Probably.

And what exactly has that got to do with his football ability and temperament, which is exactly what I was alluding to ?

But you are so bloody intent on defending Antony's rights, that you don't bother to read the content of the post .

Are you a barrister /solicitor by any chance ?

The Glazres have appointed two CEOs, both accountants with no football background. Remember Woodentop saying that there was no connection between performance on the field and commercial income? Or the current one, when City were far outperforming them financially, he said: “You’ll never be bigger than us in Asia” Laughable.
Yes, however CEO’s are business men, I wonder how many have a football background? We all know football is a business these days, not about a Saturday afternoon where the money comes from what folk pay ‘through the turnstiles’.

The rags have proven not to undertake due diligence on their signings for a decade now, so Antony isn’t any different.

I’m not defending Antony’s rights per se. I’m defending the right of any human to not being treated like a criminal before charges are made against them.

I’d even do it for you. ;-)

But I wont need you thanks :)

Football is like any other business, you have to understand the market to have any chance at all. Training and experience within that marketplace should produce a cadre of CEOs. Soriano has it. There are no doubt others but my knowledge of CEOs is thin. Even City need to understand the consumer better than they do. Woodentop’s remark shows absolute market ignorance.
