It might be wishful thinking, but there is a definite sense of the wheels coming off at the swamp. You have a disciplinarian manager, who hasn’t managed in a big league, trying to motivate and control a bunch of toxic prima donnas. Sancho, Antony, Greenwood, Maguire, Martial, Fernandes etc. Throw in the green and gold rabble and the ownership circus, it is all a recipe for disaster.

The best bit is that 50 odd thousand of them are flooding out after 75 mins.
You have to hand it to them, they first practised it at Wembley in 2011 and eventually perfected it at Wembley 2023.
