The same as it ever was, their arrogance is their downfall.

The day they stop trotting out complete sophistry like “That’s okay for some small team but this is Manchester United Football Club” they might start to get somewhere.

They lose constantly because they think they have a god-given right to win. But it requires guile, humility, hard work and attitude to be successful. Of which they have precious little.

Neville is right in one sense, the rot is deep. But he’s yet to realise that he is part of it.

Said this for years. Their delusions are self perpetuating. the United Way, it’s killing them. And will continue to do si, which is brilliant.

People keep going on a out them being ‘bigger’ than City. Who’s the fuck cares and how is size measured in football?
How can you claim to be the biggest club in the World yet have that shower of shit playing, a shambles of a stadium.

The biggest club in the World doesn’t play Jonny fucking Evans..

They were on the decline very slowly during the GPCs last two seasons. They had no decent youth development structure in place and his departure just sped the decline up very rapidly.

Ferguson was no mug, he knew what was in store for united and got out to preserve his legacy. The league was about way too competitive for his liking and he knew City were going to be the best of the lot, so he bolted.

Smart old bastard if you ask me. United would've struggled with or without him in thr coming years and he knew it, and now his legacy is even greater because he knew he had to bow out. Had he stayed, his final years would've been like Wenger.

Interesting point made by Neville in his post match obituary.

One of three scenarios happens with Chelsea Jim.

1) he comes in and says nothing... Fans won't like that

2) he comes in and bigs up the Glazers (like he did a few months ago).... Fans won't like that

3) he comes in, panders to the fans and says it's all the Glazers fault and he's gonna sort it out, fans might like it, but majority shareholders the glazer family won't.... Splits the club.

Either way, they're fucked

The one save that Ederson had to make, was literally from Rashford smashing the ball up the pitch with his left foot, with absolutely no idea where the ball was actually going intending to go.

Never even had a spell today, which has never happened over the last few years despite how bad they were.
