I'm not sure I agree that Saint Rashford is "hugely wasted potential"... I think he's just a bit shit not to mention lazy.

His overhyped "potential" is just, as usual, a figment of the sycophantic media and deluded rag fans.

He's a poor footballer. Decent if you're a team who look for a smash and grab win by getting outplayed and want to catch a team out on the break and need someone to run onto a ball. He'll do a job in that scenario, now and again.

But his general play is actually very poor. Barely creates anything, no real football intelligence, not particularly a good passer of the ball, shirks all defensive responsibility, actually generally lazy unless there might be a goal in it for him. It's not like he even has any finesse either. All his shooting is him just whacking the ball as hard as he can. Sometimes it'll work, mostly it just ends up as a poor attempt.

I really think someone like Adama Traore could do the same job in the United team, basically just run onto a long ball on the break without needing to do much else for the team.

More than two paragraphs and I’m normally moving on, but that sir was an EXCELLENT post.

You touched on it, but I think one of our greatest assets is our history of failure and cock ups. This breeds humility and that’s never a bad thing.

The Rags I spoke to Saturday and Sunday couldn’t understand why I wasn’t bullish on the Derby. As a longer serving City fan(first season ticket 86/87 season) I think it’s only natural to be reserved and cautious. It’s in built in us to be humble, to have humility.
That as you say is a great thing to have..

Something they now need..

Rashford is a fraud. Virtually all his 17 goals for England were against pub teams. Just another media fabrication with a good PR team.

Howson Knows a top footballer who wants to play for utd but doesnt know who to contact? What the fuck bullshit do his followers believe everything he says.

Incredible, a TOP player doesn't at least know someone that can't get in touch with man utd?

How is that believable in any way haha

Absolutely

I'm not saying he's completely crap and should be playing in League Two or anything but if he had to come to a team like City, he would get found out very quickly for the very average footballer he is when he would have to show a footballing brain, being comfortable on the ball with technical ability anywhere on the pitch, being able to pass, intrgrate into a detailed way of playing and have a real work ethic on the pitch etc etc

He would fall flat on his face.
