Set backs and problems are a pain to overcome, but once they are, you change a little. And for the better.
Look at the red tops. They haven't had to comply, or reassess, or realign themselves, and without that they will continue to be poor in the football industry.
Look at how Liverpool, Arsenal, and Rags moan when they perceive injustice. They pressure and manipulate their way around obstacles.
I like to think that, although I do get annoyed, the longer they have the football authorities (and media) bending to them, the more disconnected they become to applying sound financial and business acumen to their trade.
They are the bank version of the football World. Too big to fail and will be propped up if need be, but ultimately, they are harming themselves.
