The press/media seem to be ignoring his track record in sport, it's far from good in fact it seems he makes them worse. Team Sky now ineos have declined rapidly, they cant retain their top riders or sign any !

Team sky were a well oiled machine now it's a group of individuals who dont seem to have any organisation in racing

Holt is saying nothing that we didn't already know, all he's doing is hedging his bets in a win-win situation for him. He goes on the attack of W25 (Worzel 25%) knowing nothing's going to change: the Glazers are still in charge, they -and they alone- control what happens at the swamp. It's their club and they can do whatever the fuck they want with it, W25 has no say in this. But Holt is a professional journalist and knows better than to nail his colours this early in the proceedings - if the appointment is a monumental fuck-up (please!) Holt can say: "I told you all." And in the unlikely event that there is a marked change in their favour and things start looking up, he can say exactly the same thing.

Don't forget this a man who once called us a 'disgrace to football.' A man who once openly admitted on Sly Sports that he 'had no time for clubs like cheque-book City.' And less than two years later was telling everyone in the Mail that 'City were the way forward.' And that 'other clubs should look and learn.'

Holt is no different to Slimy Stone or any of the other rag apologists given a platform by the media in this country, he's a treacherous, two-faced ċunt who -if it weren't for the fact he chose journalism as a profession- would be sitting on the front benches in Parliament for the Tories, waving bits of paper and braying like a fucking donkey "Here, here," every now and again.
