Obviously there are examples of businessmen who are successful in the conventional sense, ie building a viable, successful and profitable business.

But these days thanks to situation of limited liability of PLC's there are just as many grifters and spivs who are able to still be financially successful and able to personally enrich themselves despite their business being a debt ridden, non-viable unprofitable failure.

But their armchair supporters both here and abroad do outnumber armchair supporters of all other clubs, hence its still good commercial sense to cater for them.
 
I dont see much of a cross over between cycling and football, in fact I dont see any cross over !.

Was Brailsford a football man before going into cycling ?

Not sure any top manager would be happy with a cycling man above him.

Ineos cycling team is nowhere near as good as team sky where. Ratcliffe seems to have had a negative effect of the cycling team.

I guess time will tell.
 
If the Glazers are that bad then when they do walk the cunts will have on nigh 6 billion from a deal that used other peoples money. As Delboy would say " we've had better days"
 
Ineos is in it to make money, the rags have some bent out of shape idea that scruffy Jim is there for purely altruistic reasons :)
