Was just thinking between two days of boozing. Who is the most prolific Garry Birtles or Rasmus Højlund? Judging by their explosive starts in the rag dome, there's not much in it. Both hyped to Mars and back on their arrival. Going back on the sauce, pair of clowns.
I think Hojlund is going to be good. He needs to get out of utd though, they eat careers up.

Re the Sancho saga

I spoke to an ex pro recently who is still very much involved in coaching roles. He said it was widely known, a total open secret, everyone knew, that sancho has a serious attitude problem.
City were happy to get rid and he was problematic at BD and england too. So when united signed him it was a serious “what the fuck moment”’within the game.

He said a big part of citys success is they try not to sign dick heads and seldom get that wrong. The due diligence is extraordinary when we sign a player

United dont bother

I'v always believed this. We buy the players with the right mindset. Most important thing when employing people I have found. Moreso than skills sometimes.

Dickheads bring everyone down, negatives the same. Before you know it no one is listening to the manager.

I don't doubt it for one millisecond. If he wasn't a wealthy footballer, just an average bloke in the boozer, he'd have been kicked to fuck so many times by now he'd be in a coma - if he was lucky.
You can bet your life that his mates/girlfriends are only with him because of his money and his somewhat petulant notoriety: he's the sort of person who will not make old bones, never get as far as middle age.

Anyway, SCUM.

They were too busy thinking they’d got one over on us again. The stupid bastards!

I know someone involved in the deal to take him from Watford and they said the same. City basically hoped that taking him away from London would help him grow up.

He got to City, was running on pure natural skill and ability for the majority as well as being in a bit of a super team with Foden etc. Foden then started getting all the limelight and he lost his head a bit and thats when he forced a move and refused our deal.

Moving to Dortmund again forced him to grow up which he did to a certain extent so fair play to him but he was by and large up against nobodies at full back in the Bundesliga so he could just tear them apart all game which made him look incredible.

Utd fell for the youtube compilations and saw it as getting one over on us, despite the deal handing us the money we then went and bought Alvarez for lol.

They never learn.

We must have had a day off with João Cancelo.
