Re the Sancho saga

I spoke to an ex pro recently who is still very much involved in coaching roles. He said it was widely known, a total open secret, everyone knew, that sancho has a serious attitude problem.
City were happy to get rid and he was problematic at BD and england too. So when united signed him it was a serious “what the fuck moment”’within the game.

He said a big part of citys success is they try not to sign dick heads and seldom get that wrong. The due diligence is extraordinary when we sign a player

United dont bother

We have to admit despite our failed pursuit of Jude.. there were questions about his attitude and personality too.

Time will tell if we dodged a bullet.. but its clear his teammates at Dortmund didn't miss him!

The biggest worry for Sancho, if the attitude problems are true is he never learns, so where does he go from here.

Yeah but, Kaveh soldhissoul told me the rags were getting a billion pound player for £80mil... So who can blame them?

Any club who does any checks on him wont touch him.

Ex pro (who worked at citys academy for a time) said citys back ground checks go beyond what most clubs do. We want to know who his mates are, what his families like, everything! Dont always get it right (cancello) but its rare we dont.

He said footballs a very tight community and it would only have taken one or two calls to know what sancho was like

I'v always believed this. We buy the players with the right mindset. Most important thing when employing people I have found. Moreso than skills sometimes.

Dickheads bring everyone down, negatives the same. Before you know it no one is listening to the manager.
The only time we seemed to have got it wrong (cancello), his feet didnt touch the ground and he was gone
