United fans really think City are going to bend over and let United, who have tried to destroy City over the last 15 years, use the Etihad, if United have no choice but to build a new stadium on the Old Trafford site.

From the Government, to Andy Burnham, MCC, Sport England, and now GMP.

United fans have got it all planned out.

From another forum.

It should also be obvious that the Etihad will be used for home games. No police force is going to allow large movements of fans into other cities or smaller stadia.

I think it's all just bluster to appeal to the fans. Lord tramp must know the government aren't just gonna hand over billions for a new stadium, so they'll end still at the swamp and get Dion Dublin to tell them how to patch it up.

Can’t stop laughing at the fat deluded ****

Watch the whole show it’s fucking hilarious & as they talk about the plans they want they are describing what City have without realising it. They then start realising they are fucking eons away from it happening, the only place they could play in the meantime is Wembley & that the likelihood of them getting what they want isn’t happening.

I’m making my bold claim the Rags will leave Manchester & make out they are desperate to return but in the meantime they’ll lobby to play games anywhere, even overseas.

The Raggy Globetrotters.

I think it's a premeditated move to ask the government for funds, they know they won't get them but they'll have their scapegoat when they say that because the government backed out they can now only spend so much on the ground, which is what they always intended doing in the first place.
