I love Simon’s comments that it would take a major offer for them to consider selling Onana. He really is a red loving deluded fucker.
Stone’s article really is a shameless bit of propaganda.

The way he dresses up the dire position United are in is frankly comical. Players that are obviously up for sale are - according to Stone - only available if a major offer comes in, while they “wouldn’t stand in the way” of people like Maguire leaving. Jesus.

Meanwhile United will adopt the radical approach of trying to maximise the fees they receive from sales this summer, while financial regulations mean they will have to be ‘careful’ about what they spend. What a wonderful way of saying that they haven’t got a pot to piss in and that they’ve been forced into a fire sale. But, fear not, because club insiders are claiming that they will be flexing their financial muscles in a couple of years.

Desperate, desperate stuff.

Slyman Stone reports: “Daniel James’ £25m move to Leeds in 2021 was the last time they raised £20m for a player.”

And that was to free up the prestigious no.21 shirt!
Slimy also confirmed that they will have to be careful what they spend.

Some teams, even United, still don’t seem to realize that English players get a premium when going between English clubs, and they demand English PL wages. Elsewhere, it’s very different. Fees are lower and wages are substantially lower! Ergo, a supposed “prize asset” leaving England is not going to be able to command the “English” transfer fee and is definitely not going to be able to demand “Premier League” wages!
