Andy Burnham says there is a ‘win-win opportunity’ in the redevelopment of Old Trafford — but says it’s up to the club to find the money for stadium redevelopment.


“Here is the opportunity to take it away from Old Trafford and put it into Port Salford or Parkside, a scheme in development in Wigan [to take trains away from the Castlefield Corridor tracks] and then Manchester United have an easier space to use with regards to the redevelopment.



“This is not about public money being used improperly. It’s a win-win opportunity.”


But when asked if Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer — an Arsenal fan — was supportive of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s plans, Mr Burnham did appear to rule out committing public money to the stadium redevelopment.

The biggest ripoff of all time was Sky's, Premier League, They sold the idea to all the clubs that they would be shown live everyweek, But they forgot to say that it involved you playing United, Sky's subscription fee had every fucker paying to watch United every week,

That was where United got its wealth from, Sky and United were partners and 38 games a season over 20 years now that's some income, Even today United are still one of the most teams shown on live TV, Their TV revenue is still bigger than CIty's and they have not won the title for 11 years and counting
