I see the £80 million player they snapped up for £40 million is on his way for £420,000 to Girona!
But it will be reported that it was 'money bags City who risk destroying football with reckless spending' that got them changed. Not 'heavily in debt rags who can't spend and are likely to be docked points that got their mates to change the rules'.Won't it be ironic if PSR bollocks finally gets demolished once its United's turn to bear the brunt.
Could the rags be the new Barcelona? It's all boiling down to selling the naming rights at the swamp, a final roll of the dice with the chips stacked against them.
its like were really taking the piss as a group with this one.I see the £80 million player they snapped up for £40 million is on his way for £420,000 to Girona!
What is the betting that there will be adjustments made to the figures allowing them to write off just enough of the losses to meet the figure needed.
And given how much they have been losing then how the hell can they be looking at signing the players they are being linked to? They know what is happening behind the scenes and that they wont be allowed to fail PSR.
I think Ashton United have made a pay per play bid for Rasmus......Creative accounting will kick in to get round this, if Chelsea can sell off hotels to themselves the rags will be looking at assets they can shift at an inflated price to themselves. Clubs will know they are desperate and resist bids for their players putting the price up, flip side the rags need to move players on which will result in some low ball offers. They really are fucked which is delicious to see.
Broadcast revenue down you say? Perhaps their first 6 fixtures next year will be selected for tv……Just keeping it 'on the pitch'....
Broadcasting revenue for the quarter was £37.5m, a decrease of £13.2m, or 26%, due to the men’s first team playing in fewer matches in the quarter, in both continental and domestic competitions.
Matchday revenue for the quarter was £29.6m, a decrease of £20.3m, or 40.7%, due to playing nine fewer home matches in the current year quarter.
