I am a L3 cycling coach and if he was one of my coaches he would be apologising in front of everyone who heard his comments and if he refused he would be out the door and reported to British Cyling. This is out and out bullying.Blues, I need assistance. My eleven year old daughter has been selected for the second year in a row to go to Spain this summer and play in the Donosti Cup tournament.
This is a team outside of her usual club team. Tonight she wore her new City Third shirt with Haaland on the back. The other girls and coaches complimented her on it. However, one coach who is a rag said it's a good shirt but "Man City ( I personally hate "Man City") are cheats and they have been fined millions because of their cheating."
I tried to explain to her he is full of shit but, I admit I can be a bit hot headed/ham fisted. When I heard this coach was giving my eleven year old shit for her shirt it bothered me.
Can anyone help me explain in a way to an eleven year old that he is wrong and full of shit so she can put him in his place? Please?

Cooments made that the coach is fair with team selection etc. If not get another team. Just both of you keep calm and be really pleasant to him. It is classless. If he wants to get smart mouthed with an adult that's a different story. It's cowardly to do it to an 11 year old girl who is clearly excited showing off her City top to her friends.What a fucking classless bully. Chin the ****
I appreciate your viewpoint on the matter. My wife is pretty friendly with head of the programme. My daughter actually watched his younger children for a couple of hours at tournament last year while he and his wife had a meal together. I don't want to be seen as one of "those parents," but I might well speak with him. He really should know better and is bang out of order. Tackling the issue may just prevent it happening again in the future.
