It would be very interesting to see how it played out. I’m sure they will try to spin it to suggest they didn’t meant to etc.

At this rate a ban from UEFA competitions would be irrelevant for next season.

Not sure, but the point was that PL failure would have no bearing on their qualification for UEFA competition
edit: unless a points deduction took them out of contention

That’s true. If Everton got 10 points for a £15m breach, I guess the tariff for £115m would be a 76 2/3 point deduction.

We know now 5m over the allowed 115m over 3 years is around 3 point deduction

Think their accounts period ends in December, apparently the Premier League has brought in a fast track monitoring system to access and then dish out a relevant charges. So this could be different to what Uefa fined them for.
