Think it was more than their shitty clubs entire turnover that year. It’s the equivalent of spending 600 million in a transfer window… let that sink in.

You omitted Pallister, who cost £2.3 million, and arrived at the start of the '89-90 season.

He played at Maine Road on 23/9/89, so will forever have that against his name.

Yeah a great win just another papering over the cracks game we really are poor though
 
Big win for them that. They've taken a huge step towards securing a Europa League place.
 
Absolute disgrace officiating benefitting them yet again today. The farce with their first goal, no free kick and offside from it and the complete lack of cards for nailed on card offences.
45 shots conceded today (23) and last week v West Ham (22j and both teams shit the bed in front of goal and missed sitters.
