Former Manchester United midfielder David Beckham tells BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast's Rick Edwards how he hopes a documentary about the club's Treble-winning campaign in 1998-99 can inspire the Old Trafford side out of their current struggle

Fucking hell Beckham you really are deluded if you think this can remotely happen in the near future.
In other news and with equal relevance to events of 25 years ago Uddersfield Town in partnership with PATHE have released a documentary about their feat in winning he English League three times in a row 1924, 1925 and 1926.
Some of the images are still, filmed through a pinhole camera which meant the players had to stand still on the pitch whilst the action shot was taken.
A technical advisor said ‘……..although this (pinhole) technique is clearly dated and cannot compare directly against modern film technology the process would be appropriate for teams and players who barely move during matches, Manchester United are an excellent example.”

25 years since the robbery against Bayern- who can forget the era when Ratty’s best man speech at Beckham (no Knighthood) was printed in full in the Sunday press and every fart and belch from the Scum got wall to wall coverage.

Don’t forget this is Manchester United we’re talking about!!!!!

Desperate Inconsequential wankers - even though the years of scarring has now rewarded me with 10 + years of unbridled joy at their demise and our ascendance.
