Spurs have beaten Utd 3 times this season, but for some reason I fancy the scum to win this final.
The Lyon game when they looked gone, and also that on the rare occasion that they do play well they're probably better than Spurs are the reasons.
Because some of their players have been in these situations before, they won’t fold under pressure. Spurs likely will.

Example? Casemiro. Look washed at the league, yet turns up every game at Europa.

"Protect the brand"
If the filth were to fuck off into the championship league I really don't think it would effect the premier league brand in the slightest.

The rags have become a very mediocre outfit and they've been a struggling mid table team for over a decade now. It's becoming a little bit uncomfortable watching the premier league and PIGMOL work so hard to bail them out to try and keep them relevant.

Cut the fuckers loose I say, or at least leave them to their own devices and see where the cards may fall.

There is no worry that they will compete in the CL. It is the further downward spiral they will go in should they not qualify. No CL money means scraping the copper jar again, no CL football means better players not wanting to join. Them not qualifying would really hamper any progress scruffy Jim wants to make and push them back even longer.
This is what I am hoping for.
COYS.

A red told me this morning that I'd ruined his season....having told him we give them the odd derby result to keep the managers there and reminded him also that each year, regardless of managers they end up a few places further down the table....quite possible, I said, by this time 2026/7 it's not beyond the realms of possibilty they will be relegated. Still, we're having some really nice weather.....

Unfortunately their performance has little to do with the amount of revenue they generate. Leeches will still leech, even on the bloated, stinking, rotting rag corpse.
This is very true.

I think there's a growing number of rag fans that this is beginning to dawn on.

The majority of reds that I meet and talk with these days have lost that aura of self-assured arrogance. It has been replaced with an inferior hollowness that screams of hope above expectation and a resignation that this is as good as it gets.

I would hazard a guess that the most die hard rag fan is in fear that their demise isn't going to be temporary.

The premier league have allowed to move their match to Friday to allow more rest before the final using the excuse of the ragettes playing in the FA cup final. They've refused spurs the same offer.

Says it all.
What’s your ketchup?

Hasn’t been moved on the BBC website.
Every game kicks off at 4pm.
Rags at home to Villa, who could be in with a Champions League / Europa spot. No way will that game be played earlier than the others.

Real Madrid want Manchester United to utilise their £15m buy-back clause for Benfica's Alvaro Carreras, 22, so they can pay about £27m to take the Spanish left-back to the Bernabeu rather than spending the £50m demanded by the Portuguese club. (AS - in Spanish), external

Probably bull, but if true is this not blatant cheating?

Guess it’s no different really to people wanting us to utilise Delap’s buy back clause just to sell him for more. As you say, doubt either scenario will actually happen.

The game before, rags play friday, spurs sunday, Europa final wednesday, so 2 days extra rest for rags

Makes you wonder why we have this clause. A sell on is much clearer.
