Very possible they finish 17th with 39 points.

They may only be staying up because of how bad the 3 promoted teams have been.

True, but the financial hole created by not getting it could be worse. They are cutting it fine with PSR as it is.

Exactly. This is why as an Arsenal fan I'm going to hold my nose and hope Sp*rs beat them. We all know Levy will spunk the CL money on some stupid business venture or on an overpriced, unproven maverick player (Eg Cunha at Wolves for £80m) whereas that cash could get United out of a hole and I would prefer that they remain in their hole and we all pour dirt on top of them and bury them. So Sp*rs winning the EL is a necessary evil.

The hole in the Champions League TV revenues would suggest that there is probably only one outcome.
 
They are not going to die on the vine with all the media that surrounds them, how in gods name does a shit footballing side living on the past get to gaslight the public purse and private investors to the tune of £2 billion?

They're already haemorrhaging money hand over fist with a shit side and stadium falling to bits, cunts should have been euthanised already.
