Berrada was on the phone to Soriano last night:
Soriano:"just act normal like disappointed. sad eyes but also motivated for the future. tell them the only way is up. also hint the idea of Kalvin Phillips at 30m would be a deal to look at, tell Wilcox to bring this up as well separately from you"
Berrada:"what about Delap sell on %, I try to maximize the buy fee so you get max sell on fee"

I see talkshite tried to spin some light in the scums defeat saying it shows how bad other European leagues are when two premier league sides from the bottom of the league make the final

That's how I remembered it. I couldn't find it though. I had a look and found a game against Boro, Juninho was playing, in 2003. Sun Jihai tried to prevent the ball reaching the defender in the box and scored an own goal. I remembered something similar to what you mentioned but thought it was against Bolton. Then I found a couple of examples on YouTube and there is an interview with David James talking about a similar game on the City Website. This time against Bolton in 2005. Gary Speed R.I.P got a penalty because of a Richard Dunne handball. I think both games City should have won but fate had other ideas.

I’m convinced I saw a game around 2003 v Boro where they never had 1 shot & we lost from a 40 yard sliced OG but also never found it on YouTube.

We can’t have both imagined it & im certain it was a Sunday fixture.

A mate of mine who runs a hotel and bar in the city centre has messaged today to say how gutted he is, not because he is a United fan, but because a full year of United having no midweek Euro games, and only playing at home every 2 weeks, means that they probably won't make enough money to keep their businesses going, as a large percentage of their regular clientele is from football tourism. Loads of Scandinavian folk who come over on a regular basis. There is a whole industry that survives off the back of football tourism. Pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, travel companies, taxi drivers, retail etc... This would impact the co op arena as well, as people will book a gig one night and a game the night after.

When you have relied on something for 35 years, and then it is suddenly gone. I bet many businesses are crossing everything that City stay in the CL.
United got to the final and only played 7 games at home! Your mate must be simple if he thinks that 7 united games will make him more money than 120 gigs that the new CO-OP will earn him!

Your mate works at Hotel Football dosent he

Has any seen this video of them fighting with Spurs on Tuesday night whilst singing 'Why don't City fuck off home'?

Imagine what the Tottenham fans were thinking! They really are fucking retards!

So how will this fire sale pan out.

It’s always a buyers market in football no matter what the economic situation is.

The scum have a squad that is allegedly up for sale, they can set a price it’s their ‘asset’ after all. They’ll set the RRP and send out the feelers to potential suitors. This is where, hopefully, every club that has had to suffer their arrogance down the years in one way or another, and there’s an awful lot, will dictate their own terms when it comes to any transfer negotiations and the scum will have to just suck it up.

Lovely.

The rat would be no more than a squad player at Villa at City/Liverpool/Arsenal a useful impact sub at best.
That’s it - he is their best player by a country mile - their latest (so called ) academy stars are doing the usual boom and bust thing, Mainoo this time last year was the future of the whole game we were told. I see no reason why this season’s best in show ponies will be any different.

The fact that they’ve now got to sell to buy is hilarious, hung by their own arrogant petard it seems after they were clearly front and centre in the implementation of financial restraints meant to stymie, not only our progress, but, any other upstart who dared to show any ambition that could threaten their self entitled perception of continuity at the top that contained only them and themselves alone.

They’ve played a blinder though in getting Arsenal to be the mouthpiece for the cartel, Liverpool in being an echo chamber and Spurs ( how ironic that it could be them who have pushed them to the edge of the precipice) the willing Waylon Smithers of the cartel.
Yanks are known to be ruthless. Dog eat dog and all that shite. None of their buddies will shed a tear at their current plight and will happily stand by and watch them implode.

They weren’t nice to anyone whatsoever on the way up, listen to them squealing already on the way down. Music to any football supporters ears.

Ratners, BHS, Woolworths and Debenhams long relied on brand loyalty, once that went the end was nigh.

The tourists won’t want to be watching an unsuccessful team.

Moyes is a very astute guy, he said they should aspire to be like City, they’ve achieved that!

Problem is though they’ve aspired all the way to Stuart Pearce’s City.

WTFAMu.

CTID.

As you were Blues.

very well written, bravo

I think we are all being a tad hard on united. The squad is full of top talent. £80 million pound players for practically nothing.

Amorim is trying to implement a new system with 3 at the back. He is stuck with Ten Hag players. Jim will fix the glazer mess soon. The bbq is cancelled and the canteen is closed now until next season.

Couple good buys in the summer and they will be back again. Sky/talksport and all the broadsheets concur.

Really don't understand the blue Bertie glasses on here.

Last night against spurs was really unlucky, 14 shots to 1. The ball fell into the net. You can’t buy bad luck like that.

So I really hope we all give them the support needed to return to the rag way under this young and exciting coach. Can’t wait to hear from Neville and YouTube experts as to what’s next…

Maybe they can all put in a quid to buy waterproof coats for next season…

So no sudden rash decisions, keep on going the united way, pretty please.
I believe -:)

Nice words mate, well written, however you've fucked up, this is not the "Save our Ruben Interim" thread

Wondering when I would see this reaction from them, the msm been very quiet.

Remember this type of behaviour is why FCUM was formed as they could no longer get away with it at PL matches.

Out of interest how have they missed out on £100m by not getting in the Champions League. The winners get £21.5m, yet they were getting £100m just for qualifying?

To be fair that new stadium that Sir Jim and the Council are building for the Glazers does look class!
