They have been in denial about Rashford and Bruno being players the rest of Europe would cream themselves if they ever signed them. Reality is Rashford and Bruno are toxic and need to be binned. Amorim sees it with Rashford, but he needs to see it with Bruno.

Diallo and Mainoo seem to be the only shining lights, and even still they are only good youngsters rather than Saka/Foden/Palmer quality. In addition to Rashford and Bruno, United fans still talk up Luke Shaw and Martinez, who seems to walk around with a perpetually pissed off look on his face and thinks rough challenges translates to good defending.

recruitment has been utterly shit for many year now. Summed by Zirkzee getting hooked at 33 minutes and booed off the pitch.

United are so cooked. They need to realise they are rock bottom and start again. That means assesing recent signings like Onana, Zirkzee, Hojlund, Mount, Martinez. Basically every single Ten Hag signing.
