Cunha and Mbuemo are surprisingly competent signings by United.

Prices seem pretty good as well.

Maybe they can break into the top 10 next season.
United are buying last seasons biggest anomalies (in PL) in over performing their expected goals, 35 goals from 20.9 xG (16.1 non-penalty xG) between them. Extremely unlikely they will be able to keep those goal scoring numbers up unless their underlying numbers improve drastically. But considering both are also 26y they are unlikely to develop much further and United are paying peak value.

And their clueless fans will as usual not understand why these players are not performing as well in their shirt despite every underlying stats suggested they wouldn't even before they signed them.

Mbuemo.

Another one who needs sectioning.
To be very honest, I am irritated a bit at this.

He is a competent forward. Hardworking as well. Why the idiot would want to join United in big 2025 I wouldn’t know.

Cunha is the type of player for them. Doesn’t work hard. Has an ego. Too big for his boots. Toxic
Typical of the club.
Mbuembo that bald bearded fraud is a great signing.

It's the new version of the times they used to buy the original Birtles and such.

It was player being pushed in the media, now it's xg trophy holders but still with no real thought of any sort of game plan.

Tick Tock.

I view players going to United now in the same way I view those who go off to Saudi. No desire to challenge for trophies, just going there for a hefty payslip.

26y, had one season in which he is hugely over performed his underlying numbers, goal tally boosted by being on pens. A "normal" season without being on pens he is a 7-9 goal player if being a nailed starter and the focus point of the attack. Which means he is a very competent PL player but not exactly someone any top teams are looking to sign.

What's the big deal ? I think he's alright, but nothing special. The way there carrying on, you'd think there signing prime Messi.

Here lays their problem as to why they have been in Groundhog Day of shitness since 2013. They sign a player and then start hyping them as some major coup for the club. They will then start saying he’s better than Haaland. They are having to move on their last big hope centre forward two summers later as he didn’t live up to their hopes. Have they not learnt that their team is utter shite and has problems everywhere that need solving. To sign these players they will have to get rid of others elsewhere which won’t improve the depth of the squad.

Looks like Fernandes isn't going to Saudi Arabia now. Not sure that's necessarily great news for United though, as they're probably relying on that money for the rebuild. They're in such a mess that him leaving and him staying are equally problematic for them.

That said, the Romano tweet says "he wants to play at the top level in Europe", so that rules out staying at United anyway.

As we saw in the CL final. The standard of Serie A is way below what it used to be.

I saw Capelo raving about Zirkzee and have heard others bigging up Hojlund.

When push came to shove, they all fluffed it.

Look at Chiesa, he was the poster boy of Italian football, can't get on Liverpool's bench.
The Champions League final that they were playing in after beating Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Feyenoord, Monaco, Sparta Prague, RB Leipzig, Arsenal, Young Boys, Red Star Belgrade and drawing at City?

Unless they're planning to build their new stadium in the Alps that is.

Mind you, the thick fuckers would still put up 'Welcome to Manchester' banners outside Zermatt.
