Sancho is an example of how football got it wrong, he has a lot of attributes that Rashford has in as much they have both had smoke blown up their arses and after many seasons people realised they are talentless.

The cost of new players for the rags is prohibitive, selling a few shit players wont give them anywhere near the cash they need.
Agreed.

Along with the names you've mentioned who else have they got in their entire squad that they'll get good money for?

There's nobody, Even the likes of the £45m they've spent on De Ligt more than likely they won't get anywhere near that back if they went to sell him, Even the younger players they have the likes of Hojlund which they've spent £70m on him or something silly, What he worth now about 20 quid!

They need to sell players and they won't he able to,

1. They've spent massive money on that player and can't get the asking price in which they are looking for to sell.

2. The players are a huge wages and won't get the wage they are getting elsewhere.

Unless they shake the money tree they are not building a side from what they have, there again mate they could always bring the youth through to save them because their academy is littered with George Bests just busting a gut to break through :)

I don't think either of them are talentless. They are of a certain generation that have no backbone, no moral fibre, and will collapse into a heap at the first sight of adversity.

They use social media agencies to spin the narrative, and deflect away from their lack of effort on the pitch. And people out there fall for it.

People like Henry Winter think they are doing United a favour by writing bollocks about players like Cleverly, Lingard, Rashford and more recently Mainoo( though I belive he has some good traits).
This leads to them becoming Internationals, getting massive contracts then quickly becoming expensive liabilities.
Thank you Henry and the others.

Even if they had any talent teams would be better off not buying to see them off. These clowns helped Chelsea buying Mount when they could have left them in the shit. Although I imagine they’d have been gazumped with the sale of the hotel & paid £60m more from themselves…….

Never thought of it in that way, Very true! That's opened up a whole new view of it for me :)

Considering the hype they had and the trajectory expected of them I can't see any other conclusion that they are indeed talentless mate, now as you say they have lack of effort maybe fragile egos but the long and the short of it as footballers they have failed/underachieved/shot their bolts.

I agree with most of what you wrote but you can't polish a great big steaming turd unless you are a member of the mythbusters :)

Did they get a penalty given in an fa cup tie at the swamp where Rosler had put City one up. Fronzeck being held by Cantona if I remember but they gave it the other way.
You are correct. The utd players surrounded the ref as they thought he'd given a free kick to City. The ref was Alan Wilkie. Used to be my boss at Durham FA. I made a habit of asking him regularly what he'd actually given the penalty for.
